When using the RumbleTalk WordPress Plugin, you might encounter the message <\/p>\n\n\n\n


“This chat room is for private users only” <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


This indicates that the chat page was accessed, but the user attempting to log in to the chat was not authenticated by WordPress, resulting in this message being displayed.

1 – When this happens, and you wish Guest users to log in, you may need to disable auto login on WordPress. To disable this auto-login feature, you may uncheck the Rumbletalk WordPress chat plugin<\/a> Members<\/strong><\/em> checkbox. This will make all your WordPress members login manually to your RumbleTalk chat room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 – However, if you intend to allow auto-login of your WordPress users to the chat, you need this Members checkbox checked. To make sure these settings are set correctly, follow these steps:
uncheck members check box–> save –> check members check box –> save<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will make sure all the underlying settings are correct. Here’s what it should look like.
(the members check box will check in the admin panel (not the plugin) the guest check box, it does not mean guests will be able to login, only members will be able to)

Once you have the Members<\/em><\/strong> mode refreshed, it should work properly again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
