Users can delete a chat message if they want to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Login<\/g> to the chat.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2. Delete a chat message<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Use the icon next to any message to delete a message.<\/p>\n\n\n

3. Clear all chat messages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You will need to be an admin to delete all chat messages in the chat room. If you wish to create a new admin user, please refer to this guide: Create an admin user<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As admin, you can clear the message cache history for all users. First, select the Options<\/strong><\/em> icon shaped like a gear.<\/p>\n\n\n

This will open the chat options dialogue. Then, click OK<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

This will clear all cached messages for all users.
* Note, this will not delete the archive messages. So if you have archive feature on, you will also need to go to clear the archive messages.<\/p>\n\n\n
