Selfie in a Chat in a Web version

To take a selfie through your desktop, click the paperclip button.

After that, click Take Photo. You will need to approve the usage of your PC camera.
This is a common request when an application wishes to use your camera.

Take a photo and then upload it to the chat room. Wait for it to upload. Then, the picture will be shown and shared with all the chatters in the chat room.

Chat Mobile version

If you’re using the chat on your smartphone, instead of clicking the paperclip button, you can click the camera button directly.

You can then take a picture and upload it to the group chat.

It’s easy to take a selfie in the group chat. Now that you know how, upload all your pictures and have fun with other chatters! You can also ask them to share their photos!

1. Open the chat using the direct link. You can do this by going to the chat menu and clicking on “Open the chat in a separate browser.”

2. Once you have the chat open in the full browser, click the browser’s Menu (usually the three dots on the upper right).

3. Click on “Add to Home Screen.”

4. Name the icon as desired, then click “Add.”

5. You will then see the chat icon on the home screen of your mobile.

There are four ways to join a RumbleTalk chat room: by using the auto-login feature, using a guest account, using your user account, or registering as a new user. One can disable or enable it using the admin panel

1. SSO – single sign on – auto-login using your user base
2. Login as a Guest
3. Members chat login
4. Register
5. Facebook login
6. Twitter login (deprecated)
7. WordPress plugin

1. Single-sign-on (SSO) – auto-login using your user base (RumbleTalk SDK)

This is the easiest way to join a room with RumbleTalk using your own user base (your website members). We have two options in here.

1. SDK – Using the JS SDK without syncing your user base, meaning your users will not be saved with us – this is the quickest integration option (used in our WordPress plugin)
2. REST API – Using REST API you can sync all users with RumbleTalk – This requires you to keep syncing your users (delete, add, edit) with us.

** You will need to check the settings–>general&settings —> Login options and check the checkbox “user authentication required” as well as the “Guests” checkbox. (note that this does not mean guests can login to the room).

2) Guest Login

Log in as a guest user. This option allows anonymous users to log in to the room by providing a login name.

Visitors can log in as a guest if it has been enabled by the chat owner. For this, you don’t need to register or log in to your RumbleTalk account.

3) Logging in as RumbleTalk member (username)

If you have registered as a RumbleTalk user in a specific chat room or registered as Admin in the admin panel, then you can log in via your username and password. This login will only work if you’ve been manually added as a user or you’ve registered as a new user.

4) Register – Register as a user in the chat – signing up as a new user

If the chat owner permits (set it up in the login settings), you can sign up as a new user for a chat. You can upload an avatar and create your password. Members list of all those that were registered manually or via the chat can be found in the users management tab.

Members information  – managed user, you can create users with a password.

5) Facebook login will allow your users to log in with their Facebook login with a click

6) Twitter login – twitter was deprecated in 2023 and is no longer available using RumbleTalk.

7) WordPress Plugin – Pre-integrated with WordPress and BuddyPress.

If you have a WordPress website, you can do everything from the RumbleTalk plugin.

Delete your personal content

Delete it from the chat

To instantly delete chat messages, clear them from the chat room.

Delete account

If you want to permanently delete your RumbleTalk account, including all associated data and rooms, you can do so by deleting the account.

Delete your profile

To delete your profile, go to https://profile.rumbletalk.com/access. This will give you access to your RumbleTalk users, which will be sent to your email. You can then delete any usernames associated with your account.

Delete all conversations and images using the archive

In the chat settings, go to History, where you can delete the chat history as well as any files sent in the chat room, including images, videos, and audio messages.
